NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories

BOOK REVIEW!! It has been so long since we’ve had a book review it got lost with all the old reviews when we moved servers. Gav gives us his thoughts on “NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories”.

So the moron brothers have gone down in history.  I really enjoyed reading”NOFX: The Hepatitis Bathtub and Other Stories”, it concentrates on the earlier days of the band, and is full of personal stories about the individual lives of each member, and covers lots of tour stories etc.

It’s gnarly, I’ve never used that word before, but it’s the only way to describe the book.  The stories, are brutally honest and I get the feeling that the whole process was probably very therapeutic for them. The book was written in sections with each band member recalling their version of the story without any knowledge of what the others had said there were a number of surprises in there.  It makes the reader feel as though you are involved in the conversation to a degree.

I like NOFX and I love reading band biographies, so I was expecting to enjoy the book.  It exceeded my expectations and was a thoroughly engrossing book.
