BabyDave was started by me (Lam) after my last band Chasing Amy imploded. Being the bass player of said trainwreck i didn't feel i had enough control over the direction of my own songs. That and tring to find a new guitarist that wasn't a complete psycho or an egotistical asshole. Having encountered many of such in the process i decided on the only complete egotistical psycho asshole for the job... ME.
Being the master of rootnote basslines i took my ring finger and added it to the fretboard alongside my pointer finger i discovered the "powerchord". I was now a guitarist. Possessing a talent for guitar that can only be descibed as "SHIT" i enlisted a couple of friends who wouldn't be too embarressed to play my shitty songs alongside me. Mark "Ramon" O' Toole on "the 4 string thingy" and Dave "Rodney" Carney on "hitting stuff with sticks."
We play punk rock, 3 chords and the truth (and sometimes non-truth). You can find us playing at any diy or non commercial gig.
