Heading on tour with these boys in June doing their merch and experiencing loads more ropey situations, so I expect ya all who come see them to buy one of these!
Things kick off with "Breakthrough", I think the perfect choice for the
first song, it builds up and then kicks in, with probably the bands
heaviest stuff, especially vocals wise, Gar puts in a good effort :)
Some nice backups too, more on the melodic side. My only gripe would be
the ending is just a bit too long. "Leave You Screaming" isnt as manic,
but again some slightly different vocals, liking this nice bit of
melody. "Down" starts off all slow and slightly sluggish, but then
speeds up nicely, good fast vocals, it has its slow parts, but the fast
parts would be my fav of the CD. I'm hoping "Deathtrap" isnt an omen
for the van we'll be driving!! This is another nice fast one, really
good snappy vocals, again with good backups. Proably my fav of the CD.
Finishing off is "Victims", again lke the rest of the EP nice and fast,
vocals ranging from melodic to pretty manic in parts! Good stuff from
these Dubs!
