H-Tray are a metal(core) band hailing from France. They have been knocking around since 2001 by this CD "Distressing Report" is their first full length release.
They have that typical eurocore-metalcore vibe going on, but H-Tray
would lie more on the metal side of things..... but this CD is good,
I'm not a big fan of "metal" but H-Tray do it for me by adding a big
enough dash of metalcore & hardcore (especially on the Soft's
vocals) to make me last the full CD, and not have it thrown into the "why
the fuck send this to a hardcore website" ever growing pile! Actually this will be put onto my mp3 player, which means that this is something that I will listen to again.
Songs like "Stressed Mind" appeal to me most, it has a nice groove going to it especially on the vocals and the music veers slightly more away from the metal side into a more metalcore sound (some people say they the same but some people will get me!). And "Waste for Life" while the music is very metal, the backup vocals are total hardcore!
12 songs coming in at just under the 45 minute mark. Some good
stuff from these French lads and lass, maybe one more for the metal
fans, but give their myspace.com/htray a listen and decide for yourself.
