Heartfelt is a fairly known band in HT-HQ, having reviewed them before on their own release "Explosive", and really liked them then. You can always expect something good from a Dutch band, be it hardcore, punk or oi and Heartfelt are no exception. Heartfelt offer us some punk fused hardcore on "Take It Or Leave It", their second release for Sheild Recordings.

Arolds vocals style has really come along since the previous CD, naybe a bit more of a range. Trach 2 "Stairs" is one of my favs, Arold gets some nice snappy almost angry vocals going especially on the chorus, a real crowd pleaser I'd imagine. There extensive touring has really made them tight and pulled their sound together.

A very fine hardcore CD and two thumbs up from me! And the length is just perfect too, 14 tracks in 24 minutes, nice fast snappy hardcore songs.
